When nothing makes sense?

Have you ever wondered why something does not work in your life, why you are having problems in your job, why it is difficult for you to achieve your goals? Why this or that? You can fill in the blanks? I have asked similar questions. Are we anxious? Is it a matter of faith? Is God speaking to us but we are not hearing Him?

Have you reached a point in your circumstance that your senses are on automatic and you are no longer aware of or, recognizing the directions? I drive a car with a manual transmission and unlike an automatic the driver must be attentive and fully engaged in the driving process; the driver must be in tuned with the procedure. The operation of the clutch, the gear stick must be well-timed in order to control the car. This is not a passive interaction. Similarly, if we are to hear from God when nothing makes sense; we must be active in reading the Word and in prayer not just by ourselves but, also with others to ensure that we are hearing God’s plan for our lives, especially; during times of trials. I know it is not easy but, we must remain focused and go to God for, He alone knows how to calm the waters of our lives if we allow Him to do so. In Mark 4:39-41 39 He (Jesus) got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. 40 He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” 41 They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!” Be encouraged today and know that God is with you. He has the answer; just listen!
